Are you exercising correctly? A classically trained Pilates instructor can prevent injury by showing you how to move properly to meet your goals. Sharp Pilates is dedicated to continuing the teachings of Joseph Pilates and his successor Romana Kryzanowska in our classical Pilates studio in Austin. Offering private and semi-private Pilates classes, we create an approachable, inclusive environment to support you in your fitness journey, no matter your Pilates experience. WHAT TO EXPECT
Sharp Pilates offers private and semi-private (up to 3 people) classical Pilates classes, focusing on each client’s unique fitness goals and level of experience. Romana’s Pilates®-trained instructors guide you through a series of precise, controlled movements targeting all muscle groups while working on posture, strength, endurance and flexibility.
Classical pilates class options
Private Pilates ClassesPerfect if you’re brand-new to Pilates or you’re needing some individualized attention to help you achieve your fitness goals. These are one-on-one sessions with a Romana’s Pilates trained instructor tailored to your level of Pilates experience. We utilize the classical Pilates Method to strengthen, stretch, tone, increase flexibility, relieve stress, and more.

Semi-Private Pilates ClassesOnce you’re in your Pilates groove, semi-private classes are a great way to go. In these sessions, you and no more than two other people will work with a Romana’s Pilates trained instructor for an effective, affordable alternative to a private Pilates class. You will still receive a ton of personalized attention and care in these semi-private classes. As always, we utilize the entire classical Pilates Method to strengthen, stretch, tone, increase flexibility, relieve stress and more.

Virtual Pilates ClassesJoin us in the comfort of your own home via Zoom with just a mat and a hand towel. Pets are also welcome ;) In these classes we will sequence through classical Pilates exercises on the mat, focusing on the muscles of your “powerhouse,” or core. These sessions will relieve stress, clear your mind, and stretch your body while improving your strength, flexibility, tone, and balance. Our goal is to get your body moving and keep you strong! Each session is personalized according to what you need that day. We offer both Private and Semi-Private virtual sessions.

Small Group ClassesSmall group mixed equipment classes utilize the Pilates principles working on the reformer, mat and varied apparatus to strengthen, lengthen and tone your entire body. Class sizes are kept small to ensure you get personal attention and instruction. Expect to be challenged, leave energized, and to have a lot of FUN.
